If you are an existing volunteer, or have participated in Mission Health Day before, you should have a profile in our volunteer portal.  Please login where it says "Current Volunteers Sign In" (above) with your email address and password (if you don't remember your password, click on forgot password to send you a new password). Once you login, then you can select "Apply to Become a Volunteer" from the pulldown menu up at the top right corner of the pate and click on "Sign up to learn more about Mission Health Day 2025" to complete the application form.

The time and date of Mission Health Day 2025 is to be decided.  You can "Save A Spot" below and we will contact you with more information. Volunteer registration for this event is first-come-first-serve. Thank you for your interest in becoming a Mission Health Day Volunteer. Please note that due to the nature of this event, only those individuals aged 16 and up will be permitted to volunteer for day-of-event activities. Preference is given to Nuvance Health employees, volunteers and nursing students.

Volunteer Role Descriptions

Greeter/Navigator Waiting Area: Welcome navigators and assist by providing directions. 

Navigator Registration: Register people throughout the day 

Runners: Guide to various service locations and coordinate wait times. 

Guide Navigator: Work one on one with people escorting them throughout the entire care experience. 

Set-Up: Help with set up and with signage the daybefore (Friday, September 20, 2024) and the day of the event on the morning of Saturday, September 21st. 

Break-Down: Help with cleaning up after the event on September 21st. 

Salon Assistant: This is a customer service role where you will serve as a buddy to someone waiting in line for a haircut and a runner for any additional needs. Make conversation while they wait to be seen and update them as it gets closer to their turn. 

Canines 4 Caring Pet Therapy: Provide companionship to those individuals and families seeking the presence of a k9 therapy visit. Plese only sign up for this role if you have a pre-registered therapy dog.

 Childrens Activities: Babysitting and games to be provided by WCSU Student Group ONLY.
