Volunteer Roles
  • Greeter/Navigator Waiting Area: Welcome navigators and assist by providing directions.
  • Navigator Registration: Register people throughout the day
  • Runners: Guide to various service locations and coordinate wait times.
  • Guide Navigator: Work one on one with people escorting them throughout the entire care experience.
  • Set-Up: Help with set up and with signage the day before event (date TBD) and the day of the event on the morning of the event.
  • Break-Down: Help with cleaning up after the event.
  • Salon Assistant: This is a customer service role where you will serve as a buddy to someone waiting in line for a haircut and a runner for any additional needs. Make conversation while they wait to be seen and update them as it gets closer to their turn. In addition, someone is needed to physically keep count of all those individuals who receive a hair cut. We will account for total number of men and total number of females who come in for a hair cut.
  • Canines 4 Caring Pet Therapy: Provide companionship to those individuals and families seeking the presence of a k9 therapy visit. Please only sign up for this role if you have a pre-registered therapy dog.
  • Children's Activities: Babysitting and games while parents get their medical checks.
  • Foot Washing Station: Engage warmly with attendees as you support our foot washing and spa experience—offering comfort, conversation, and a calming connection while guests wait and receive care. Volunteers help guide the flow, provide updates on wait times, and assist with basic foot cleansing support. This role also includes tracking participation by counting the number of men and women served throughout the day
